1st Cabinet Meeting will be held at the Community Center in the City of Leaf River. Women, spouses and guests are invited. Women will have to plan their own entertainment during the meeting and there will be no lunch or dinner served at the meeting. There will be snack items during break but no formal dinner. August 31, 2008 Paw Paw Paw Paw Labor Day Celebration

On August 31st. truck and tractor pull staring at 1:00pm Contact Lion Bob Bettner 815.627.3951
On Septemper 1st: Parade at 10:00 am Contact Lion Rich Para 815.6279484; Truck and tractor pull starting at noon; Car show staring at 8:00am Contact 3D sound @ 815.713.5547 or 815.251.4211; Flea market at the park contact Lion Mark Rhodes 815.627.9472 There will be a chicken bbq stariing at 11:00am and a pork chop bbq staring at 5:00pm The BBQ's are at the park. Also we will have a pedal pull for the kids, plus pony rides, The Boy scouts have a pancake and sausage breakfast at the community building Monday morning
 
One Last thing THE BIG RAFFLE  First prize is $7500, 2nd is $1000 and 3rd thru 10th is $600 wtih an early bird drawing on Aug. 23rd for a $1000(If you win this your ticket is re-entred for the final drawings) Only 1000ticket to be sold! September 18-20, 2008:  USA/Canada Forum,  Saskatoon, Canada.

September 27, 2008:  International Director Russell Sarver Reception,  To be held in Rockford at Giovanni's Restaurant. $35.00 Per Person.
